Earlier this month, Lition joined the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance with the objective of collaborating with their global community of blockchain leaders, adopters, innovators, and developers towards a shared vision of empowering businesses with enterprise-ready blockchain solutions.

We’re pleased to announce that we will be contributing to that cross-industry effort by teaming up with Chainlink, Unibright and Anyblock Analytics in the EEA EMINENT Task Force.

Ethereum Mainnet Integration for Enterprises

EMINENT (Ethereum Mainnet Integration for Enterprises) was recently formed as a branch of the EEA Mainnet Working group. Lition joins the key task force to assist in creating reliable standards and specifications for businesses that want to integrate Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP), or other corporate systems of record with Ethereum.

The creation of the task force, and it’s mission to bridge the gap between blockchain and centralized business systems, has been pioneered by Unibright, Chainlink and Anyblock Analytics. We admire the action they’ve taken and we look forward to working closely with these organizations to exchange critical knowledge and innovate solutions for the benefit of all.

The task force is set up to work for 18–24 months. Initially, the task schedule will focus on defining work packages, then expand into building best practice solutions within proof-of-concept implementations, and finally provide open-source available documentation and specification basis (like ERC standards) for further development by the public Ethereum community and EEA members.

About the EEA Mainnet Working Group

EMINENT was formed under the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance Mainnet Working Group. The Mainnet Working group is a joint initiative of the Ethereum Foundation and the EEA, led by Consensys, EY and Microsoft. It extends the focus of permissioned blockchains (serving as a distributed ledger within business consortia) to the public Ethereum mainnet. The group will make the case for how the mainnet can be used in a safe and effective way by businesses.
